I'm Monika Shrestha, a Python & Django developer based in Pokhara, Nepal. I focus on backend engineering — building scalable, secure and production-ready web applications.
Day to day I design REST APIs, model data in PostgreSQL, run asynchronous work with Celery and Redis, and ship through Docker and CI/CD pipelines on GitHub. I enjoy turning messy business requirements into clean, maintainable systems.
Lately I've been building AI products: KnowledgeBot AI (a RAG-based document assistant) is in progress, a Business Management System is complete, and StudentPilot AI is coming soon. I'm open to full-time and part-time Backend / Python Django roles, as well as freelance work, where I can contribute to impactful production systems.
